Somewhere along the line I began to notice how different professors and their teaching styles are either held in high regard or reviled (little said about those in-between). And, specifically, we all hear more criticisms than positive feedback. Choosing our professors sometimes is reduced to essentially "picking the lesser of two evils." Common advice when choosing classes is using RateMyProfessor. The class you're interested in is taught by someone with a score below 3? Maybe try a different quarter and take something else this time. We learn about using constructive criticism and sandwiching feedback but no one does that for a professor or TA so you just don't hear about a lot of the positives. I had planned to weave in the positives and negatives of each course with the summaries for this portfolio, but I think it will also be useful to condense some of this information in a post. So - that will be coming soon and this is precursor and some background as to why it exists.

Quantum dots are tiny particles with semiconductor properties that vary in color due to differences in size. Here is the Wikipedia article if you are curious but otherwise it does not actually matter what they are (in the context of this post). What matters is that these pictures are a good representation of a photo I hope to take of in terms of alcoholic drinks. Goal: Create a rainbow of alcoholic drinks that are glowing Materials Needed:
Progress: Instead of shot glasses I have potion bottles, which could work, and I have made some colored drinks using various colored alcohols. I have also collected alcohol/mixers. The plan for the drinks:
